I've realized that there may be some confusion on what exactly the definition of each race is. So I'm here to clarify that! ^_^
Angels: Angels are beings from the heavens. Usually characterized by large wings or other physical mutation, inhumanly beautiful, and sometimes emotionless faces in usually emotion invoking situations. They are fair and just, even if they wish not to be, and have a difficult time empathizing with humans. Any human food or drink flavor is usually multiplied times ten to an angel. As in the case of alcohol, it would take a couple of sips for an angel to become intoxicated.
Blessed Mortals:: A mortal that has been blessed from doing some many good deeds. These mortals have the ability to sustain life for eternity. They are hand picked by Calcephony herself. They only possess the ability of immortality. Rules:PM Calcephony if you wish to be one. Very Limited!
Demons: Demons are beings from hell. Usually characterized by some mutation, whether it be horns, a tail, or wings and unnaturally beautiful or hideous. They are manipulating and devious, always finding ways to succeed in gaining what they want. Any human food or drink flavor is dull to them, in hell their substances are much stronger. As in the case of alcohol, it would take several full bottles for a demon to become intoxicated.
Sinned Mortals:: A mortal that has caused so much catastrophe in the world. They are granted the gift to substance life for eternity.
Rules:Chosen only by Lucifer, they are incredibly rare. PM Calcephony if you wish to be one.
Humans: Humans are beings from earth. Usually characterized by mundane features. They have a mixture of good and evil in them, with rare cases of the person leaning more to one side or the other. Humans tend to vary more than demons or angels in the personality area. Humans are also mortal and delicate, they die easily in comparison to Angels or Demons.
Gifted Humans: Gifted are beings from earth. Usually characterized by having one mutation, whether it be in appearance or in powers. They are the only humans, besides very small children, that are able to recognize Angels and Demons. Even then, they have trouble deciding exactly what they are seeing. Their mortality is a bit more stable, they are a bit tougher than the average human. They are believed to be a result from an Angel or Demon mating with an average human, or those powers were carried down among generations.
Rules: Very Rare!
Vampires: Vampires: The creatures of the night. Vampires are dark creatures but religion, crosses, holy water, etc. does not harm them. They can wear silver and can eat garlic. But they are highly allergic to sunlight. They have the ability to fly, move faster than the eye can see, and seduce their prey. They are very agile creatures who live off blood to stay alive forever and are semi-Immortal. All were once mortal, and the only way to contract Vampirism is by blood swapping.
Rules: Follow the description. No extra powers.
Shapeshifter- Feline and Canine: Shape shifters, known also as Were's, have their own clans in which they are loyal to. Unlike the legends, the full moon does not control their shifting [but they do have a harder time controlling their animal instincts and urges around that time]. Shifters have the abilities of their respected animal they can shift into giving them the heightened senses and agility of their species. All shifters [determined on how old or powerful they are] have three forms; human appearance, a half way point, and their full turning. Their human appearance is self explanatory; it's how they are as a person, how they looked upon their birth. A half way point is where a shifter is caught in between forms, taking on the appearance of both a human and their beast which only powerful and experienced shifters can do. The full turning is their animal form, looking as if they are an ordinary beast, only slightly larger. They still have their human mind in all forms.
Rules: Follow the description.[/blockquote]
