Upon registering for Vexed Blood, you have agreed to read and follow these rules. Please read them carefully and thoroughly, they are subject to change but announcements will be made when that occurs. Until further notice, this is the law on this board.

1. NO ridicule, taunting, or rudeness of any kind directed towards ANYONE for their age, gender, race, etc will be tolerated. Violators will be warned once, then banned.
2. You may NOT begin to post or role play unless you have been accepted. Not even in OOC boards. No exceptions. Failure to follow this rule will end in rejection of your application.
3. Do NOT curse more than necessary. This RP is rated approximately PG-13, and any posts containing excessive profanity or things of a sexual nature must be marked as such. (PG-13, R, NC-17, etc.) If it is not, then that thread will be removed without warning.
4. NO GODMODING. For the love of pete, it's a simple request. If you don't know what it is, please read here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godmoding
5. You MUST follow the character profile template and the joining rules posted with it. If you leave something blank or don't give an RP example, you will not be accepted and should revise the application. If there is not an answer for that section of your application, simply fill in "N/A" or "None."
6. For now, only one character is allowed per account, and hopefully only one account per person. If we find ourselves needing players, that may change. But for now it stays this way, and don't think that using another email address will let you slip under the radar. IP addresses don't lie.
7. Avatars are welcome, but may contain NO profanity or things of a sexual nature. They should be 100 x 100, the board is set to that size but if you have a larger one it will look strange when shrunk down by the board, please try to do it yourself.
8. After registering, you have 48 hours (2 days) to post an application. After that, your account will be deleted to give other people a chance to join.
9. You must be in character at all times while posting, except on the appropriate board. OOC (out of character) discussion may occur on designated boards or via Private Messages ONLY.
10. Mary-Sue's are highly discouraged. Let's keep things "realistic," shall we? Relationships can happen, but creating a character solely for that purpose is annoyingly obvious.
11. The preferred posting style is narrative or third person perspective. And past tense. For example:
12. Do not do one or two sentances posts. Be detailed and descriptive in your posts. Share you character's feelings and thoughts at the moment. This will give your fellow RPers more to work with.
13. No Spamming. All posting in this forum is reserved for Registered Members. Abuse will result in banishment. If you wish to advertise your site, the ADVERTISEMENTS board is the only one open to guests posting.
14. Please post at least once a week. If you are absent for more than two weeks without notifying a staff member by PM or on the Absentee board, you will be deleted and must re-apply.
15. What the staff says goes. If one of us tells you "no"...we mean it. In fairness, we all promise not to abuse our powers. I've chosen these people for a reason, I trust their judgement and so should you.
16. Please try to use correct grammar and spelling. If you're not great with either, at least press the Spell Check button before you post.
17. Signature images cannot be over 550x250 and avatars no bigger than 100x100. This is so we don't have to scroll over hundreds of pictures to get to post, and so it doesn't stretch the forum and because for people on dial-up it takes forever to load. Also, only real people, no anime or cartoons. We allow any manipulation of photos that you wish to do, just no cartoons.
