Background and History:
October 30th 1900; Delphine was a nobleman and a noblewoman in London,England. She led a normal life. Or as normal of a life as a noble woman could. She was young, she was fair, and she was more than popular with the men. But she played with them, teased them. One day, her maid told her she'd get entangled with the wrong man, and that would be the end of her. That was when she was seventeen years old.
Delphine was always locked in her room, in the big house, in the big world. She felt trapped, and suffocated all of the time. When she was eighteen years old, her parents, who she didn't really see or bond with decided they wanted to auction her off to the manly community. They wanted a grandchild, and they'd stop at nothing to get it. So, they proceeded to set the poor girl up on blind date, after blind date, until one man caught her attention.
His name was Alasdair, and he was kind, gentle, and alluring. Well, little Delphine fell head over heels for this man. Never knowing he was a vampire. It never struck her as odd that he only courted her at night, and was never seen in the day. And whenever offered a meal, would promptly turn it down, claiming he'd already eaten. None of that struck the young woman as a little strange. She was falling head over heels in love with him. They "dated" so to speak, for six months. Although her parents were hardly involved with her everyday life, they further pushed her relationship with Alasdair.
To Delphine, he was her angel. Little did she know he was a fallen angel. They made plans to wed the night of her eighteenth birthday. Time flew by, and on October 29th, 1918, Alasdair decided he'd live with Delphine forever. He took her from her home, and kidnapped her back to his home country of Romania. There, he threw her in the dungeon, chained her to floor, and gave her an ultimatum. Either turn, or die. Without answering, he lunged at her, taking a solid chunk out of her shoulder.
Just then, before the process went any further, one of his disciples came into room. Exclaiming that if she didn't want to turn, she didn't love him,and that she should die. Delphine though that night that she would truly die. But since the wedding was a day anyway, the vampire thought he could wait one more day. That gave Delphine an extra day to live. The man she thought she knew exited the room, leaving her and the disciple alone. He'd saved her life on purpose.
Later that night, he came back to her room. Delphine had never gotten his name, but she knew she'd live to see the light again. Little did she know, that she was going to die. But she would come back as one of the damned. Her fiancee planned to kill her. The only way out, was if she turned. So she asked for it. He complied, breaking her chains, throwing her over his shoulder, and taking her to the city, did the deed, and hid her away from the rest of the world. From then on, she was alone. Delphine was dead to the world, dead to her parents that never cared, dead to the man she loved the most, dead to herself.

Still shakin, her body refused to stop convulsing. Elena was worried, she was ... she couldnt explain it. Pushing her body up, palms faced down on the dirty ground, she had realized what happened. "What.. the damn just happened?" Now she was confused. The moment she snapped out of her vision, Lilith had cursed to all hell, and then she bloody stormed off like a bat out of hell. "Damon, what the hell did I say?" Apparently, the shadow was just as surprised. The two girls had gotten along well, and their little day had ended on a terrible note.
Now, Elena wasn't usually the sympathetic kind, but she needed to know what was going on. "You sounded like you despised vampires, she got pissed off, she left. If you know whats good for you, Elena. You'd go after her." Damon hadn't needed to tell her that. She planned on it anyway. Straightening herself out, she needed to go clear things up with Lilith. Clearly, she misunderstood. The vision, though... that was what was puzzling her to no end. Scooping up Damon in her arms, she headed for her bike. Which, conveniently, was no laying on the floor.
"Remind me never to piss her off for real." She knew if she did, her bike might not just be carelessly tipped over. It was at least a ten five minute ride from the park, to the school. And then an extra few minutes to actually get to her dorm room. Ugh. Why did things have to be so bloody complicated? Hopping on her bike, she shoved Damon in the little pack like basket that mounted on the secondary seat of the bike.
Kicking the stand three times, the monster started up. Balancing herself on one foot, she tossed on her helmet, not even buckling it, and shot off the gear. The bike went swiveling into motion, and she shot off onto the open road. Wasting no time at all, Elena hopped red lights, and stop signs. The worst that could happen, was that she would get a trafficking ticket, right? But assuring Lilith's new friendship was more important than a bloody ticket.
Pulling into the schools gate without a moments hesitation, she reeled her way past the front of the school, to the girls dorms. Which one was hers, though? The girl had never been invited to Lilith's place, so, how the hell was she going to find her? Releasing Damon from his temporary residence, the girl darted off on her too long legs, up the stairs, and into the building. Franticly, she looked around. "Hey, hey you!" She called over to someone lounging in the hallway. "I'm looking for a room. Maybe you can help me. Angry girl, storming through here with an attitude that clearly says "STAY THE damn AWAY" ?
The girl pointed in the direction, and she took off towards there. Knocking heavily on the door, she didn't know how to start. "Lilith. God, Jesus Christ. Lilith, answer the door!"
